Tobacco-Stained Mountain Goat!
You guys! The new novel Tobacco-Stained Mountain Goat by my bro Andrez Bergen will be released March 31st from Another Sky Press! I did the cover for it ages ago and the back cover for it in recent ages. It is a noir style detective story. You might totally love it!

Is whiff of smoke on the rear cover intentionally the cursive Chinese character “圖/图” (to seek; picture, diagram)?
Actually, James, it’s the kanji character “zuzushi” – shameless/impudent. ;)

Thanks Andrez! My Chinese-trained eye saw the smoke solely for the character but failed to also see it for the cursive hiragana. (図 is the Japanese simplification of 圖)
