Hey, so Saturday May 3rd, i will be showing at Secret Headquarters, which is an amazing comic shop in LA. There’s lots of nicely stained wood in there. It looks like someone’s awesome den.

I’ll be showing new paintings depicting a collector of cute things. Everyone likes to collect cute things. Well, not everybody, i guess.

So come hang out! I will be there kickin it as well. So will other awesome people, I’ll bet. If you come.

this weekend Graham and i will be at Stumptown in Portland, Oregon. April 26 & 27th. we’ll be selling Hickees and prints and things. i will have some King of Kong prints, but not a ton. also i will have some ninja prints.. and some other prints..

but anyways, come by and hang out.

So for the King of Kong signing, Nucleus put out 4 new prints! Check them out. Two of them are from the world famous Igloo Head and Tree Head story. (spoilers though… if you haven’t read that story). (And world famous is me fantasizing, i think)

also, i didnt mention in my last post, but i want to say thank you to all you awesome people who came out for the signing. it made me feel so happy! i love all of you dudes and ladies.

Here is my favorite moment from the King of Kong signing that happened this past saturday. shaking hands with razputin. i know tim already used this photo, but whatevs. i dig it. i mean, i also liked shaking hands with seth and ed and clay.. the dudes who made the movie.. but they werent wearing outfits as amazing as this one.
so it was a fun night. good things happened. people seemed happy. i felt happy. here are more photos from it.. “more photos”

Hey, everybody!
So on Saturday March 22nd, at Gallery Nucleus in LA, I will be chilling signing stuff. Like dvds, comics, posters, animals, whatever. I AM 8BIT will be putting out a limited run of prints of the King of Kong piece as well, so this will be a good opportunity to come over and buy some of those deals and i will sign them right in front of you with my hands!
Also, it will be awesome because Seth Gordon and Ed Cunningham will be there, the dudes who made King of Kong. and Jon Gibson. that awesome guy. It will pretty much be the best time ever, and you should come and hang out with me and these cool guys.

Also, nucleus will have all my usual prints for sale, i am assuming. So seriously, come over. Awesome.

ok, so i forgot to mention this when they came out, but Gallery Nucleus recently came out with a new scott c shirt with ninjas fighting on it. and also monsters drinking tea, like from this painting. they have it in men’s and women’s styles. if you would like ninjas on your shirt, you should go get this. right up your alley.

Hey, everybody. the KING OF KONG A FISTFUL OF QUARTERS is the best movie ever. I love this movie very much. The DVD is now out and i am super honored to have done a painting to be used as the alternate cover of the dvd. i havent seen it yet in real life, but i think you can turn the cover inside out. i am unsure, but i think you should go see for yourself. also there are some awesome extras on the dvd like an animated short by gabe swarr about the history of donkey kong. he is the best. gabe swarr.

also, i am 8bit is going to start selling prints of this piece within the month i think. AND we will all be doing a signing in LA sometime this month as well. i will let you know when that is.. when i find out. i think everybody will be there having a good time.. like the king of kong people perhaps…
