the Paris trip! (a report)
Well, that was an amazing trip, you guys. i love Paris. i mean, i am sure everyone loves Paris. i am not the first one to love Paris.
Great thanks to Diane and Jean-Jacques for being the greatest hosts! Their Gallery Arludik is an amazing gallery that everyone should go visit when they are in Paris. They are the most pleasant people on earth.
The opening was super fun! i met some great people! I wish i spoke more french! …or any French really… But here are some photo memories from the opening evening!
and all of the artwork is available online HERE!
Arludik from the outside….
Arludik from the inside…
me touching my neck with some cool people from Powerhouse Animation in Austin
People in the other room where there were drinks and candy all over a table…
Natalie from Album in Paris and Diane of Galerie Arludik…
me signing something with a pen…
Stephen Silver and i! it was Stephen’s first show, which is crazy sounding to me…
Some other highlights of the trip, included a visit to Autochenille Productions, where they are making animated films of the books Rabbi’s Cat and Aya! They are doing inspiring things. And hanging a bit with Fabrice Joubert, Arthur De Pins, and Mike Defeo, who i like very much! and Emmanuel Guibert and his family were amazing!! All super talented people. And of course, Rex Crowle and Emily came from London and we did a lot of exploring together. And my oldest bro on earth: Dan
Rex and Emily and i visited the new digital art museum called La Gaite Lyrique. i highly recommend it! there is a video game section that is super great. And a big sound proof box within a box for shows.
But mostly we all hung out in cafes and drew the people. Here are some photo memories of drawing Parisians with Rex and Emily..
and that’s it! ok! see you soon!
next trip will be Toronto for TCAF!

everything you draw is wonderful!!!!!
Awesome, Scott – looks like it was fun! ;)
